OS Crashes or Startup Failures
If your operating system crashes during boot or becomes unresponsive, we recommend performing a layered diagnostic to identify the cause. These crashes can result from corrupted updates, failed drivers, or unsupported hardware changes.
Start by restarting the system in Safe Mode (typically by holding F8 or Shift during boot). If you gain access, try rolling back the latest OS or driver updates. Use recovery tools to scan for disk errors or corrupted files if the system fails before the login screen.
If recovery fails, create a support ticket at crashsupport@company.com and attach a screenshot of any error codes or boot logs. We may ask you to run a diagnostic utility or send in the device for deeper analysis. For mission-critical systems, emergency loaner hardware is available on request.
